I am proud and excited to share with you the first Italian stamp dedicated to an Italian medieval poet writing in Arabic: Ibn Hamdis! Thanks go to my students who promoted the project and to the Ministero delle Imprese and Made in Italy that selected our proposal.

I am thrilled to announce the creation of an Italian stamp dedicated to Ibn Hamdis, a medieval Italian poet writing in Arabic. The stamp will be part of the series “the Excellence of Italian Cultural Heritage” and this is a project promoted by the students of my Arabic classes
