@cantflexonrex It’s not at all an issue in terms of Islamists by headcount or public policy. Fully agree. But it dominates a good portion of discourse on the left. The main reason for that is propaganda from Russia, Qatar, and China filling our social media and paying influencers primarily.

For any climbers, I was happy to push my limit this trip and on-site 5a lead and 6a on top rope. (I know that’s not particularly impressive, but I’m pretty risk averse outdoors and treat lead almost like free solo’ing.).

My take on ICE/immigration, a bit nuanced. For 30+ years, US immigration has been this bizarre “game” where the right promises secure borders but generally eagerly lets undocumented migrants enter to serve business interests that want cheap labor. And the left claims moral.

@Dayforit__ My normal crypto model kind of broke with this lengthy ~8 month consolidation near the highs. Best answer I can give (unsatisfying to me) is that we’re in something like the 4th inning on a much slower moving cycle than past bull markets. Or maybe a framing is that we finished.

How were some people convinced this could be “WW3” or even require a US draft? Iranian terrorism may eventually take out a few US soldiers as they have in the past, but as of now the death count of Americans is…zero. The only Americans to die were killed by Hamas on October.
