Our Development Manager Phil Thompson has been contributing to @SP_ECYP Committee's deliberations of @mspliz 's Bill to make residentials a funded entitlement for all. Yesterday the Committee visited @SBroomlee . We hope they are convinced of the massive potential this could be!
It's been an interesting & productive conversation with @SP_ECYP about the power of Residentials at @ArdroyOEC and other @AHOECUK providers. Final deliberations happen tomorrow with @mspliz , then they issue the stage 1 report. Imagine residentials being an entitlement for ALL!

Primary 7 did a great job sharing their @ArdroyOEC experience at our showcase event. They presented to the primary 6 pupils and parents to provide information, and then again to their own families. They shared memories, videos, tips and skills gained and even gathered feedback👏

Wow @TorbainPS what a fab idea! We're not sure of the canoes would float...(!) but what a great way to revisit all the learning from your residential a few weeks ago and discuss challenges overcome, key points etc. Brilliant! @SAPOE_org @CreativeSTAR
Hey @ArdroyOEC - it’s us again! P7a and P7c were set a challenge during Outdoor Learning yesterday to use the loose parts to recreate something from their time at Ardroy last week! Children created Jacob’s Ladder, abseiling and even their own canoes and paddles! 🪜 🛶🌲🌳🪵🍂
