Last member guest of the season. Crew has killed it despite little to no rain in the past few weeks. Weather is finally conducive to growing grass. Green speeds have tapered off lately but nice trade off for non stressed turf. Have to take what Mother Nature gives you

Hard to imagine we mowed Thursday. Bailing grass everywhere. No way we could wait til Monday. Fortunately we have dry weather coming in to get caught up. Petri dish in the roughs right now.

Interesting results from Roundup application to certain fescue areas last fall. You can see the strip we did not spray in November. In some areas if it wasn’t hard or sheep fescue it was taken out. Little Bluestem and Broomsedge unaffected. Could be beneficial over time

Nothing like our main blowing out during member guest week. I guess no thrust block 20 years ago. LaBar Golf Irrigation was here in 24 hours to get us back in service. Ewing Irrigation was awesome overnighting all materials . Thank god new irrigation system next year!
