Exciting exciting exciting! What beasts lurked along Northern Scotland's coasts in the 7th millennium BC, before and after 8.2 and Storegga? @PrehistoricEdge are helping us find out!
Today weβre extracting collagen from tiny bone samples from Tarradale, ahead of isotope analysis and ZooMS. These analyses will help us identify the species fragmentary remains, and tell us about the Scottish Mesolithic food web @TarradaleTT @arkeostrida @ArchSoundScapes
