The circled building cost $2 million (₦5.9 billion) to construct. It’s a two storey building with 150 rooms, built using low-cost local materials and without an air-conditioning system.
This is Tambacounda Hospital by Manuel Herz Architects, located in Senegal built with local materials [More pictures below]. Now compare it with the quoted tweet 🙂 Other African countries, despite being colonized are making progress with their infrastructure, but look out what

Your bigoted perspective, rooted in ignorance, is appalling but not surprising. The Arewa have 2 of the top 6 Forbes-recognised US dollar billionaires: Aliko Dangote($26.1B) and Abdul Samad Rabiu($8.7B) The East has none. Aliko alone is worth more than the next 5 Nigerian
What does Arewa really do? What do they excel in? They aren't in their numbers playing football in major European leagues like others. They aren't known to excel in other sports internationally either. They aren't also part of our diaspora professionals making waves in academics

Beware of 'reconstituted' or 'refurbished' steel rebar in the market. I didn't know they exist until afew months back. They are smelting 'scrap/off-cuts' and making new steel rebar from that. Insist on manufacturer's test certificate so that liability is with the supplier!

Kano’s economy grew by 25% in one year from ₦12.05trn to ₦15.13trn. Lagos grew 10%, from ₦30trn to ₦33.05trn. Size still favors Lagos, but the speed favors Kano. The north’s commercial capital is fast becoming a national contender. - Dr. Tijjani Ahmad

Hausa architecture has so much potential
Imagine walking through Sabuwar Kofa and seeing streets lined with houses that reflect our heritage not foreign imitations, but pure Hausa designs reimagined for today. That’s what decolonizing our mindset in design truly means: building spaces that tell our story with pride.
