He's actually right. Although both culture and religion/spirituality converge, they are also separate. For instance, A Yorùbá person who embraces Christianity is not culturally Jewish or Greco-Roman. So also, Hispanic person who embraces Yorùbá religion isn't Culturally Yorùbá
Hispanic people embracing Yorùbá culture is not precisely because of the culture but the spirituality. Never get confused about that.
