If we lose Assyrians in Iraq, we lose a people from the *Old Testament* who are preserving *Aramaic*. If we lose Maronite Christians in Lebanon, we lose the last chance of culture in the Levant. If we lose Orthodoxy in Syria, we lose every last memory & legacy of Antioch.

Aramaic is an ancient language of immense historical and religious significance. It served as the lingua franca of the Near East for over a millennium. Aramaic was the official administrative language of the Neo-Assyrian, Neo-Babylonian, and Achaemenid Persian empires. At its
Aramaic will be extinct within 50-100 years. Once Aramaic is gone, we will lose a rich library of biblical interpretation & ancient Christian history. Assyrians are the last people who speak it fluently. SAVE ARAMAIC!

Call me naive. I believe we can make the genocide of Middle Eastern Christians one of the biggest issues of our time. Bigger than Israel. Bigger than Gaza. If the West wants *Christian revival*, it can no longer ignore the persecuted church, or said revival will never arrive.

If you want to hear what modern Aramaic sounds like in Nineveh TODAY, watch this video of @athra_kado, a Syriac teacher from Alqosh. The Nineveh Plains is the ancient & linguistic heartland of the Assyrian Christians.
Listen to Syriac teacher and activist Athra Kado speak on preserving our language at our International Mother Language Day event in Tesqopa! Thanks to last year’s Suraya Student Society fundraiser, our donors, and the Tesqopa Church and schools for making this event possible!

We are getting an insane level of interest in our posts on Aramaic. People keep asking. Why does Aramaic matter? I have a simple answer. Because Aramaic is the language of the MARTYRS. Over and over, those who have safeguarded this language became martyrs for Christ. Let me

I want to tell you the story of Fr Ragheed, the Assyrian priest killed for refusing to close a church. On the fateful Sunday of June 3, 2007, he finished delivering mass in Mosul & walked to his car with three deacons when Islamic gunmen stopped them. "We told you to close the

I am getting HUNDREDS of messages & DMs from Christians asking "how can I help?". AWARENESS is everything at this stage. We have to break out of obscurity. Our ask is simple: research our cause & start putting out high quality content about us. Send this content to the most

Evangelicals are partly to blame for the collapse of Middle Eastern Christianity. They are the biggest supporter of wars which destroy Christians. But it goes way deeper than that. They view Christians like Assyrians in Iraq as a pawn to expand their footprint as "authentic"

Any version of Christian Nationalism that ignores Middle Eastern Christians is morally bankrupt & worth ignoring. [Pictured: Assyrian Christian girl from the Nineveh Plains, a region destroyed by ISIS & now occupied by IRGC militias]

The Assyrians are the prime example. Survived Baathism, Iran/Iraq War, Kurdish uprising, Kurdification, Iraq War, ISIS. Now they are so hopeless that their smartest minds are stuck fighting eachother about church labels. Demoralization. Exhaustion. Atour esh lela mithta.

Middle Eastern Christians have been through decades of demoralization. Demoralized by Arab Nationalism. Demoralized by war. Demoralized by terrorism. Demoralized by infighting. Break out of this mental prison. W/ a wealthy & educated diaspora, there is a huge cause for hope.

When you adopt the framework of “dhimmi fighting dhimmi”, the divisions between Middle Eastern Christians makes sense. Assyrians arguing over their churches, Lebanese Orthodox vs Maronite Catholic, etc etc. Fake divisions imposed by the sword designed to distract the dhimmis.

Trump abandoned Christians. His VP talked about Assyrian Christians before getting elected, did absolutely nothing. Hegseth did nothing except start a war that’s going to create a Christian emigration crisis. They brought a fucking jihadist to the White House.

Middle Eastern Christians need to understand & use their leverage. Most voters in the US are Christians. Do you think they realize their politicians are genociding you? We don’t need pity. We need to communicate our message to the largest voter bloc in the USA.

I might post this every day until @JDVance comes out and says or (GOD FORBID) does something about Christians in Iraq. The Christians he gave us sermons about BEFORE he was elected.

This is what's happening to Assyrian Christians in Iraq right now. Imagine you're driving home from church & this is what you see. Imagine drone debris collapsing through your house. THIS MAY BE REMEMBERED AS THE WAR THAT FORCED THE LAST CHRISTIANS TO LEAVE IRAQ.
