In 2016, Neil voted NO on SB758 - denying low-income Maryland seniors a $30 per month minimum benefit so they don’t go hungry.

Red flag laws save lives by keeping guns out of the hands of those who pose a danger to themselves or others, but Neil Parrott voted against these common-sense protections, putting our communities at risk. Maryland deserves common sense gun reform, and leaders who can get it.
In 2018, Neil voted against keeping more Marylanders safe by opposing HB1302 – MD’s Red Flag Law. Since passing, the law has allowed the temporary removal of hundreds of firearms from people deemed to be a threat to themselves, their families & schools.
