We held a Christmas party for the clients on Wed 14 Dec 22. This was the first Christmas party after lifting the lock down. Councillor Maureen Cornish JP Lord Mayor of Birmingham was the Chief Guest. Apna Ghar users, staff, volunteers and guests were entertained by local singers

Fri 9 Dec 22, we enjoyed an evening of traditional Sufi singers held an event at the centre. This was attended by members of local community, staff of the centre and trustees.

Apna Ghar co-hosted a day opportunities programme on Wed 7 Dec organised by Day Opportunities and support group of Birmingham City Council. The event was attended by users, carers and staff of the Centre. Photos of Bāham City Council staff and participantsĀ at the centre.

Apna Ghar being a multi faith centre and takes pride in celebratingĀ all religious festivals. On Wednesday the 26th October 2022 Diwali party was held at the centre.Ā Diwali also known as festival of lights is a hindu festival and is to celebrate victory of light over darkness.

Apna Ghar is a centre providing day care to the elderly, critical and vulnerable people predominantly from the Asian Community. We encourage people of different cultures to live in harmony and thus improve coercion between faiths. More info in description #CommunitiesCan

We have a day trip going to Leicester on the 27th Sept 2019. We will be leaving Apna Ghar at 11am and then leaving Leicester at 7pm. It will be Ā£10 a ticket and based on first come first serve. If any one is interested please contact 0121 440 2266.
