⭕️ Face: Súquitlaá This nose ring is inspired by a photograph of Edward S. Curtis. Possibly from the Nootka or Haida tribe. We have had to make one adaptation for men’s bases and another for women’s bases because the shape of the nose is different in each one.

🐂 Head: Bull chief This is one of the four headdresses we made for the Indian chiefs (more info https://t.co/WHDe6apK5X). With this headdress we wanted to represent the beasts.

🗻 Clothes: Alhkīdókīhī This print is one of the four elaborate dry-paintings or sand altars employed in the rites of the Mountain Chant, a Navaho medicine ceremony of nine days’ duration.

🐻 Neck: Weasel Tail From the necklace of this reference we made two traits: A simpler necklace keeping only the bone choker and another one adding the necklace with the brown bear claws.

🌵 Body: Asa Deklugie.  2nd draw the trait. Size, color palette and outline must be taken into account so that it fits with the rest of the traits. "We wanted him to be more youthful and cheerful, thats why he is smiling at you, even with his eyes."

🌵 Body: Asa Deklugie.  1st history and references: He was the interpreter of Geronimo. He mediated between the Indian chief and S.M. Barret, the original author of the memoirs. He was the son of Whoa, chief of the Nedni Apaches. Asa's wife was Geronimo's niece.

We started designing the NFT collection with Geronimo. The story is narrated in the last years of the old chief's life, but in reality he tells us about his life as a warrior and as the chief of his tribe. We knew he had to be middle-aged. These are the tests we did.

He is also the main character of Geronimo's memoirs, logically, although the original author is S. M. Barret. On the right is the original book and on the left is the book we published for Spain.
