As the coach of this year’s team, my goal is to assemble the strongest squad possible and to bring out the best in the applicants and later the team for optimal performance at Worlds.

Last year, I had the opportunity to be part of the team as a substitute player at Worlds, and I’m looking forward to my new responsibilities as part of the organization.

I’m Matthias, part of the team council and the coach of Team Germany this year. I’ve been in the hobby for several years and started right before the second edition of AoS. Since then, I’ve been attending various tournaments in the German scene and occasionally internationally.

It is particularly important to me that the German community gets more insights. In my new role, I can also take part in decision-making processes and influence the composition of the new team. Thanks also to the trust of last year's team. (Part3)

My goals for the Team Germany project are that, like every year, we improve in all aspects. In terms of play,I want to achieve high goals with the team; last year it was 8th place. This year we're improving that even further and showing that we're a real threat to the podium! (4)

I play quite a few international tournaments, especially on TTS, and am therefore not only very well connected with top players from other nations, but also usually always one step ahead of the German meta. (part3)
