As much as I hype up & will yap abt my twitchcon experience because I was very VERY lucky with what I got to experience and how many friends I had with me to make my time great, I did also experience a bunch of the problems with accessibility and saw the bad parts of the con.

no cause it cannot be that hard to supply a ramp TO THE STAGE when you know ahead of time a wheelchair user is going to be there…. actually pisses me off so bad that scar & the pink parrots had to stay on the side in the audience section

absurd that bc Once Again twitchcon failed to provide basic accessibility accommodations, the pink parrots had to receive their award not On stage but in front of it. built the whole thing & it couldnt be used for the Main point of the event bc they didnt think to include a Ramp.

as much fun as i had watching the twitch rivals mcc tho, the fact that the stage was not accessible for participants of the event, as well as multiple streamers saying that they were being blinded by the lights and some even getting headaches from it is such a blindspot .

Literally zero reason for them not to have a ramp even if you argue that pink parrots might not have won (which is a terrible argument) 1) walkouts were on the stage 2) they KNEW hermitcraft was getting an award Shameful on twitch’s behalf. It’s rlly not difficult to have a ramp

twitchcon was so particularly huge this year bc of the minecraft youtubers... which personally I think this means we should totally have minecon again
