An attempt to ridicule simple majority voting at the Battle River-Crowfoot by-election has seen more than 200 candidates nominate. Elections Canada has resorted to write-in ballots because they can't print all the names.

This name is used for NSW party registration but is not allowed for Federal. Interesting application as at the Federal election with the name Libertarian the party polled less well than as the Liberal Democrats in 2022. Especially in National seats with no Liberal candidate.

SFF will not win the last seat in Bass having been overtaken by Independent George Razay. But Razay has a chance of winning the final seat. Exclusion of next Labor candidate will leave two Labor candidate ahead in the race for final two seats.
