I was a student when I first saw this image, in a Time magazine I think, my first peek of a new SW movie-it melted my brain-
February 29, 1996: Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (1997) Doug Chiang was sketching concepts of Coruscant for Ep I, then George Lucas decided to include the planet in the ROJ Special Edition. Doug finished the painting in 6.25 days. #StarWarsArchives19992005
