D’Andre Swift: “I wasn’t supposed to go at all. But I went out there and told coach, 'Let me do something. Put me in, please.' I just want to get out there and be with my team.”
@SugarBowlNola
I’m telling you. No offense to the Braves. That parade was awesome. But

could start a caravan in Atlanta, head down 75 to Valdosta, cut across 84 to Savannah, take I-16 back, cut back over to Athens and folks would be lining the roads.
Bulldog safety J.R. Reed on the job the defense did against Benny Snell: "We understood that Benny Snell was maybe the next Herschel Walker or something like that. We wanted to go out and prove that there’s only one Herschel."
Kirby Smart said one the memories he will remember the most is Julian Rochester bawling after losing the SEC Championship. Said “The guys wanted to win it for him.”
Spoke to Peach Bowl CEO Gary Stokan and asked him, hypothetically, if Georgia were to get selected to the Peach Bowl, would he be willing for Bulldog seniors to be honored before the game. He said "absolutely."
Bill Belichick from practice today at Georgia Tech: “The Georgia guys are not thrilled being at Georgia Tech. But that’s alright. They’ll get over it.”
ESPN must hate the state of Georgia. While Braves are playing in Game 6 of the World Series, they’re showing the Falcons’ loss to New England in the Super Bowl.
I asked Nolan Smith why he decided to come back for his senior year. He told me “because my momma wanted me to get my degree … she doesn’t care about the NFL Draft.”

Georgia calls a timeout...allows Stetson Bennett to walk off the field to the standing ovation he richly deserves. Georgia 52-7 with 13:25 left to play
Haven’t heard a peep about Jalen having these “alleged” issues. Here’s a guy who after missing time with injuries could have called it a season and started preparing for the draft. Instead, he gets healthy and is working hard with his teammates to try and win another title.
ESPN’s Todd McShay said he believes Jalen Carter has some “character issues” that may end up affecting his Draft stock.
The Georgia DL is currently projected to be a top-five pick 👀
Kendall Milton has been voted the Most Outstanding Player of the Orange Bowl...he rushed nine times for 104 yards and two touchdowns. His long run was 43 yards.
If Georgia fans need another reason to respect Yante Maten, check his response when asked about the NIT: "I love playing for my school. So as
long as I get to wear a Georgia shirt, I'm good with it."
Devonte Wyatt made no bones about who his favorite NFL team is, telling a Pittsburgh writer “Steelers? I’m a Falcons fan.” Wyatt also said in the past he’s worked out with Grady Jarrett.
People wanting to blame Jake Fromm for losing Saturday’s game have lost their ever-loving minds. Seriously. Go to Goodwill and see if anybody turned them in.
My flight to New Orleans included me sitting by a 5 1/2 year old little girl flying by herself to see her dad. Not a shy bone in her body. I helped her color in her coloring book and played tic-tax-toe. 😀
Regardless of what happens tonight. Georgia's offensive issues is putting too much pressure on its defense...If Dawgs truly want to make the playoffs, this can't continue...
Been covering Georgia football a long time. The DL trio of Jordan Davis (99), Jalen Carter (88) and Devonte Wyatt may be the best trio I’ve seen for the Bulldogs in some years.
Am told Gunner Stockton will join his new teammates at Georgia on Tuesday to work out with the team before the Bulldogs head down to Miami for the Orange Bowl.
Kirby Smart on Mel Tucker: “When I came to Georgia in December of 2015, one of my top priorities was to bring Mel Tucker in as defensive coordinator. He is an exceptional coach, coordinator and trusted friend...
Kirby Smart said he talked to the team before the game about how it hadn’t flexed its “composure muscle.” Said Branson Robinson stood up and flexed his arm, said “This is what a composure muscle looks like.”
An ode to Dylan Raiola (This is all in fun, no offense meant to anyone. Sincere congrats to the young man).
On the wide-open plains with few trees and blue skies,
Enter Dylan Raiola, a quarterback talent nobody denies.
Once committed to Georgia, on Monday he flipped,
Choosing…
