Hi all. We're looking for new members. We're a Sunday only social side playing in the Hornchurch area. We love players of any ability as long as you've an enthusiasm for the game of cricket. We're very friendly and have a busy off field and social calendar too. DM if interested.

After a vote amongst Anson members, June's Anson St George player of the month is Charlie Brooks. Charlie took 10 wickets across four games last month including hat-tricks in two consecutive weeks.

The boy done good again. Remarkably, after taking his first hattrick last week, Charlie Brooks has followed up with a second one yesterday. He's now one of two Anson players to take two hattricks. I've never heard of anyone getting back to back hattricks before. Well done Charlie

Well, it turned out to be a thriller, as it often is against East Ham Corinthians. We stopped the rot of the 5 consecutive losses. It's now 19 wins to East Ham's 22 in all matches between our clubs since 1964. Here's the match report.
