One thing I was told from a black midwife is that whenever yt women experience even a minor inconvenience they always put it in writing and black women don’t complain until after we have our babies so our experience is always different. Complain to PALS/do a formal complaint.
I’m in my third trimester & I’ve never met my midwife. Every appointment I have she’s apparently “off sick”. When I have concerns & call the hospital I ask to be put through to her they can’t find her & put me on hold for more than an hour 😕

I experienced bleeding in my first trimester, at the time I was unaware why. Doctor confirmed two pregnancies but it’s come to pass that only one made it. This apparently is quite common. It still is heartbreaking nonetheless. My bubs is healthy in their 2nd trimester. 💗🙏🏾
