A beautiful day outside! I've been writing horror & drinking coffee, but I think now I'll go walk around in the trees. Listen to the birds. Touch some grass, as the saying goes. Breathe fresh air. Temporarily distance myself from a dark fictional future about hackable neurotech.

Reading fiction is not just a pleasant pastime. It teaches us empathy. It puts us in the shoes of those who are different from us. It’s a form of resistance against the forces of ignorance and bigotry and lack of imagination that tear our world apart.
