Betty White broke barriers, defied expectations, served her country, and pushed us all to laugh. Barack and I join so many around the world who will miss the joy she brought to the world. I know our Bo is looking forward to seeing her up in heaven.

A5: Often S's do not like small group projects because they don't know how to work effectively within them. It is the teacher's responsibility to model and teach effective group work strategies. Part of the project IS collaboration, and it should be treated that way #ElonEd

A6: I think we as educators can help co-create a culture of care through mindful listening and shared experiences to help enhance “buy in” and again .. with holding space that fosters mattering. #ElonEd

Could it be that students have been taught that their voice doesn’t matter? How can they contribute well if they don’t feel like they matter? How can we build students up and foster a sense of community before we expect them to work in small groups? #ElonEd

A4 I build in mindfulness in our day. We normalize articulating how we feel and what we notice with our bodies with no judgement. Shout out to @Mindful_Schools for all the amazing training I have been fortunate to receive. #ElonEd

This is my ninth year teaching first grade and the start of it is like no other. We are over two weeks in and exhaustion has set in. Saying that the needs for students, teachers and caregivers is high is an understatement. This is unsustainable.

I want my students to have experiences each day that contribute to belongingness in our class community. That means I need to be listening, allowing, pausing and affirming. I have learned a lot about this from @DisruptivPeace @VillageOfWisdom and @Mindful_Schools #HipHopEd

So, this means that we (as educators) should be constantly studying our students. We don’t ever fully have them all figured out. #RadicalWelcoming #HipHopEd

@MrDoggettRMS Who we are is something that is constantly evolving. The space that allows the students to explore and free engage in the process is one that is radically welcoming #HipHopEd
