Recently Jim Mackey wrote to NHS leaders to remind them to ‘walk the floor this winter’. If that has to be said, heaven help the NHS. it is inconceivable Trust leaders CEO, nurse and medical directors, should be anywhere else but on the floor.

Its tempting for NHS mental health commissioners to go for generic services. They are easier to deliver and scale. Though they are a false economy. Specialist services are more effective at helping patients manage their conditions and save more money in the long term.

Poor response and not acceptable when they are 1 year after the statutory deadline

Today is the STATUTORY DEADLINE for 24/25 "brown envelopes" I would normally post a picture or video of my PSS. I havent received my 23/24 (asked 5 times) let alone 24/25. Many havent received an RPSS. Its a disgrace @nhs_pensions Post a picture of YOUR envelope (or doormat)

We have repeatedly made this point to government & to the NHSBSA. Im not sure they are either listening hard enough, understand the issues properly, nor the impact of their maladministration - the impact ultimately is on patients sadly
@goldstone_tony It’s totally ridiculous - working in the dark nearly 12 months on from the date 2022/3 pension statement was supposed to be released. This will put a lot of consultants off doing extracontractual work, including those who may actually have nothing to worry about.
