Politically, that’s wise. His wife is a significant liability with problems beyond religion, but opponents will focus overwhelmingly on the religious angle, so he’ll likely arrange her conversion just before the election to maximize the advantage and leave them no time to respond

Hritik is an outlier in terms of look in a way similar to how Ramanujan was an outlier in terms of Mathematical ability. I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful man. #Nohomo

I don't want to gloat but i told you so. Also, see how he uses the term "agnostic" instead of Hindu to describe his wife's faith. As I have said numerous time, i find him to be the single most despicable figure in politics anywhere.
JUST IN: JD Vance says he's raising his children Christian, and he hopes his agnostic wife, Usha, comes around to the Christian faith.

One problem with portrayal of love stories is that they only show you the part until marriage and then end it with the caption, "Happily ever after". There is no such thing, 99% of the problems in relationship start after marriage.

Kind of remarkable how long it has been and yet barely anything has changed

Egypt and Israel kind of did but one country has to establish decisive superiority over the other for that to happen. Nuclear weapons complicate things. Other way is to do the same thing that soviets and US did, engage in proxy war without direct engagement. Taliban are a godsend
To all those from Afghanistan, Pakistan, & India who voice their anger against each other & say a permanent solution is needed: which countries in history have found a permanent solution to conflicts, ever? War ends one set of problems to make way for another set of problems.

Both sides have maximalist position, “integral part” vs “jugular vein”. Best chance for resolution was 1971 and later Lahore Declaration. India missed 1971, while the Pak army sabotaged 99. I don’t see how things improve; the countries don’t even have common sense of reality
The saddest development in Indian subcontinent is that there is no significant vocal constituency for peace left in either India or Pakistan. Instead of worrying about Mutual Assured Destruction, discourse in both countries is about ‘bring it on.’ (Not going into reasons here)

Did every person had that moment as a kid when they accidentally consumed a seed and then got afraid that a tree will go from inside their body?

The only difference between the headline, "epic courageous hero who petted a tiger" and "local village idiot viciously mauled to death while drunk" is sheer dumb luck.

The late 2000's were just an unusually good period for music. It all began to decline after mid 2010's and we still haven't recovered from that.

As easy access to AI makes refinement of output widespread, errors will move from being seen as an imperfection to be corrected, to a sign of authenticity and originality.

He could always divorce and marry a nice white lady or at the very least, he will make his wife convert to catholicism.
I think the best way of understanding this interview is through the lens of Vance’s presidential ambitions. The primary obstacle to Vance getting the nomination in 2028 (assuming Trump willingly leaves office) is a challenge from his right. Vance knows that Fuentes is attacking

In another life, i would have spent a decade working in a parisian bakery and then come back to open my own shop of hand made fresh bread because honestly, what we serve in the name of bread here is nothing short of travesty.
