Just finished Dragon Age Veilguard and I loved the hell out of it. It’s not without flaws, but it was 60 hours well spent.

I told y’all back when the game first came out that Veilguard was not a flop, they were using that as an excuse to cancel Dragon age as a whole. Now it turns out it’s sold really well. EA lied and fired so many talented dedicated people for no good reason.

As a Bioware fan since the 90s, it's really sad to see what's happened to one of my favorite studios. I've got opinions and critiques with what I've enjoyed from them too, but right now feel like they pretty much made it clear Bioware is barely alive and on life support.

Wise words from DA senior writer Sheryl Chee. Also remember the fandom can breathe life back into anything it wants. The original Star Trek was kept alive by its fandom and this allowed it to return.

Trick and Karin Weekes have been laid off and haven't been moved to other EA studios, absolutely abhorrent. They've been at BioWare for 20 years and helped shape so many Dragon Age and Mass Effect iconic moments and characters. So upset for them. Dragon Age really is dead.

I'm not usually a doomer... but every single veteran BioWare writer is now gone. The only known (new) writer at BW is Mary Demarle. Weekes wrote Legion, Mordin, Tali. Battye wrote for the Leviathan and Citadel DLCs. They let go of the veteran Mass Effect writers. I don't get it?

A personally-learned lesson for all cat owners during the holidays — a gift ribbon can easily become a 3000€ vet bill if your cat gets a hold of it. “Linear foreign objects” also don’t show up on x-rays until they start messing up your cat’s insides. Dispose of your ribbons!

TikTok influenced me into taking up colouring with alcohol markers and the calming cozy satisfaction of it is glorious—plus I find myself trying new techniques. I’ve never been a purely artistic person but colouring gets me to experiment

We're getting closer and closer to the June release of Vampire Therapist! Meet your first client. Dr. Drayne hates being a vampire. He doesn't drink blood, he doesn't wear leather, and he doesn't even hiss. What's the point in being dead if you can't enjoy it?

You read Audiobooks. Audiobooks are read. Reading does not occur in the eyeballs. Reading occurs in the brain. People can use their eyeballs to read. People can use their fingers to read. People can use their ears to read. It’s all reading! Any definition otherwise is ableist. 📚

I love my cats so much, it’s hard to articulate. Literally—I’ve been struggling the last year to write a novel I shoehorned them into
