Brilliant day working with the phenomenal staff from Houghton Community Nursery School & Mill Hill Nursery School (Sunderland) exploring how AI can enhance Early Years education. Incredible learning environments and a pleasure supporting them as they embed AI into daily practice.

Great day of consultancy work at Abingdon Primary School (Middlesbrough) today. Worked with SLT this morning looking at a wide range of AI tools to support teaching and learning and then with the Computing Subject Leader this afternoon to develop a digital strategy .

Delighted with the response to my brand new ‘Safeguarding in a Digital Age’ course today. Delivered this 1.5 hour course three times today, to not only my Birchwood Primary School school colleagues, but also to staff from throughout the CAT (Community Academies Trust).

Great end to the week at Langley Park Primary! Started with a productive Computing curriculum review with the Subject Leader, then led Coding workshops with Reception–Y2. Loved seeing pupils’ curiosity and creativity as they built core computational thinking skills!

My Ellington pupils loved taking part in the @FonettiApp ‘National Read Aloud Challenge’. I am delighted that we have been announced as regional finalists and that I will have the opportunity to accompany two of my pupils to the awards presentation in London at Amazon HQ.
