@randomrecruiter I’ve had plenty of interviews in the past where the interviewer was unprepared. They would not care to ask proper questions nor did they know about my experiences and would bring up my resumé mid interview to act as if they had read. Then I’d get rejected.

@randomrecruiter Candidates who overlook preparation for behavioural interviews, thinking they are not so important, are entirely wrong. Companies are becoming increasingly conscious of culture building and work environment. Researching about the company and preparing STAR answers are a must.

@JDaviesPhD For periods of feeling low, stressed or anxious, there is only one thing that works for me: distraction. Keep very busy and move the focus off the stressful or upsetting thing. Set yourself tasks to do. See other people. Talk about something else.
