Odd folk. Trying to reform the Papist church to make it more Roman. Realizing such a task is a fools errand, ends up splitting. This is just the evil version of the Reformation.
SSPX announces that July 1st 2026, they will consecrate new bishops without Vatican approval which will be an official act of schism, after having made a request of Pope Leo XIV in August, and whose answer was not to their liking.

I couldn't imagine anything which looks more Anglican than this photo, minus the statue.

Seeing Greeks call any and all historical pronunciations "Erasmian" makes sense when you realize they all believe that Alexander the Great spoke exactly like some urbanite from the outskirts of Glyfada.
I see alot of people struggling with that information, blaiming the Byzantines indirectly - But guys. Go to a Greek Church. They use the same exact Greek that was spoken since the Hellenistic times. Yes i'm talking about Koine. They didn't have to change anything .

To give a bit of context here: where we're from, the word "Protestant" has heavy Baptist and Pentecostal connotations
Some Baptist missionary showed up to evangelize here and my dad was like "Sorry, I'm not Protestant. I'm Anglican. Good luck next time, though." And the missionary looked at him so confused like. Need your thoughts on the moment.

King Arthur is Arthur. He's not Athrwys ap Meurig, neither Lucius Artorius Castus, nor Riothamus. Arthur is Arthur, with no other "true" alias.

Everyone says Thucydides never said it when I remember a moment with the exact same sentiment in a speech from one of the first two books of Thucydides' Peloponnesian war.

The Druidic order was transferred to the British episcopal order under King Lucius. Anglicanism is the true inheritors of ancient Druidry. Geoffrey of Monmouth talks about this.
