Hilarious that the Padres in a pennant race hit Ohearn clean-up against a LHP. Makes you question the Orioles decision makers.

Some (offensive) comps I'll throw out for Jeremiah Jackson, because I know people love player comps:. Tim Anderson, Salvador Perez, Kyren Paris, Teoscar Hernandez, Adolis Garcia, etc. Basically guys with plus bat control and below avg swing decisions.

Still think "Wells to the pen, Dean Kremer can start" is one of the worst mainstream Orioles Twitter takes this year.

In the playoffs in a fantasy baseball league and my opponent picked up Beavers and Jeremiah Jackson for the matchup. Im fuming.

Sorry Gunnar, but unless you go ballistic in September, Trevor Rogers is my MVO.

The barometer for a successful 2025-2026 Orioles offseason:. Come spring training, Kremer, Wells, Povich, Suarez, Young, Trey Gibson, Enns, etc are all competing for the 5th starter spot.

Are we still on the "Tyler Wells should be the closer because we have Dean Kremer to start" bizzaro train?.

Yes that's right, Dean was bad last time out because of Basallo, that was definitely why.

We need to add high caliber free agents AND get significant in house improvements to compete in 2026.

One issue with the Orioles this year that makes me nervous for next year is how they've been below average in ALL facets of the game. Defense (fWAR): 22nd.Offense (wRC+): 19th.SPs (fWAR): 24th.RPs (fWAR): 22nd. (Per Fangraphs, Bref is similar).

Really only Jeremiah Jackson and Beavers have been giving us competitive ABs this series. Wild.

Id say. Valdez.Bieber. -----------.Cease.Suarez.King. I have the most injury concerns about King, love the talent otherwise.

I was looking at the FA pitchers available the other day thinking who the Orioles might go for this off-season. There are really five tier 1 guys:. Valdez.Cease.King.Bieber.Suarez. How would you rank these five in terms of preference as a signing?.

I do think Valdez is one of the rare FA pitchers who might really make sense for us. At the same time, he's going to be everyone's priority.

If the Orioles were to sign Framber Valdez, would your thoughts on Mike Elias change?

This is Trevor Rogers' third time getting a strikeout on a 93 mph fastball above the zone. What a difference a few ticks can make.

Also there has to be a correlation between high stuff plus and injury risk; a bunch of the hardest throwing, most injury prone guys in baseball.
