Nightwing 2025 Annual is another great addition to an already incredibly good run: the world building is detailed and evocative, I genuinely love how the Zanni effectively brings back the actual meaning of the Carnival's dark side: a moment of chaos, change and reverse of rules+

Also jmho but if they really want to use the Joker, he could be written again for a while as he had been in Gotham Central. All he needed to terrify Gotham was a sniper rifle and his unpredictability, he truly proved that sometimes less is more. I miss Gotham Central 🥲

- Batman, the Batfam and Bat-books deserve better. He's a detective, they all are detectives, just give us engaging mysteries whose investigation would balance action and introspection, supernatural elements, and social issues. Is it too much to ask for? 😫.

- main purpose is to have the Bats fighting either each other or just Bruce. Enough is enough, it's a unoriginal and overdone concept, poorly executed here. The writing manages to be bland, boring but also shockingly awful all at once. It's a totally pointless and useless story.
