Maybe talk about the INTELSAT satellite system (zile satelittes nne kubwa zenye mnazionanga huko Longonot) . The Kenya College of Communucations Technology (which is now MultiMedia University) formed to train telco workers for KP&TC.

We could go back to the East African Post and Telecommunications Services in 1948. Or even the East & South Africa Telegraph Company in 1888. (We could have started from the East African Ocean Mail Services in 1866. but this is more postal than telco).

Generally, the unfurling of Kenya's telco sector is a story that interests me so much, that I'd want to sit down one Sunday and yap all about it here (if I had a choice, I'd have the conversation physically, but Twitter has better reach).

For the purposes of statistics in this conversation, one Purity Rita Muthoni did her MBA thesis in 2018 at the UoN on the topic 'Cashless Payment Systems & Operational Efficiency of Public Transport in Nairobi'.

But. all these cards/platforms still failed. Which makes me ask (you):. What is the exact problem that they are trying to solve?. And are they doing the right thing?. If not, what could be the solution?. Or better yet, do we need to change anything? Ama tuko tu sawa venye tuko.
