Some day years from now, Oregon State will have a really good football program and fans will complain about how we don’t play the Ducks anymore because we were so mopey back in 2024 and 2025. 100% a mistake to not play. Once it’s gone it’s gonna be so much harder to get back.
I couldn't care less about Civil War. Oregon killed the tradition in it. This is rivalry is top 5 all time, been played for 130 years & is meant to be played at the end of the year. This game does not matter anymore & that is truly sad as a fan of rivalries in CFB.

Just so I'm clear on this - the fans that bought season tickets through almost 3 decades of losing seasons are not passionate enough, but the fans that rip on everything orange and black and don't come when the team loses are the real "fans?"
@notdigitaldam I feel like this is what happens when you put people in charge of a communities passion when they themselves are not passionate about it. It’s also the complacency of the generations over us that have not demanded more. The problem equally lies with those “fans”. Thx for sharing.

What really irritates me is that if the Beavs happen to knock off Texas Tech and/or Oregon in the next two weeks these people that demanded firings or ripped the performance of everyone from the players to some athletic dept. employee who got a degree elsewhere will take credit.

But now, because the Beavs have lost two games fans expected to win, we're going to take shots at the extreme air dogs in the pregame festivities and bemoan the gameday atmosphere that everyone loved the beginning of last season.

OSU has 112 players listed on the roster for the 2024 season. This year, the limit is 105. So your primary guy gets hurt, no problem you have a backup. But what if that guy has the absolute worst day of his athletic life?

Everyone talking about the sky falling at OSU. You remove the long snapping issue, and in all likelihood the Beavs win that game and everyone calms down. Last year, there were 4 long snappers on the roster. This year 2. Why? Likely, the new NCAA roster limits.

Following their 1-1 draw last night, West Albany is the only boys soccer program to play Summit at least 3 times in the last decade and never lose. (2-0-1). Lincoln (1-0-1) is the only other program to play them twice and not lose since the start of the 2016 season. #opreps
Since returning to 5A in the 2022 season, Summit boys soccer has gone 45-6-4 with losses to 6A Lincoln, Jesuit, Lakeridge, and 5A LaSalle in the title game last year. The other two losses are to West Albany. Can lightning strike the Storm thrice? We'll find out tonight. #opreps
