A wintry day, several inches of fresh snow, and I’ve got no reason to go anywhere. So I’m making fresh cookies and listening to vintage Eagles. Welcome to the Hotel California.

There are some mornings when I actually enjoy shoveling snow. Today was one. Blue sky, sun, and a good snow shovel.

We’re suffering under a stealth snowstorm this morning.

Just now, the smile I get when someone discovers the big favor I did for them yesterday.

Our local media is telling people they HAVE TO shop on Black Friday. Guys, the advertisers already paid their bills. And as we all KNOW, tomorrow there will be discounts. If you do decide to go, only patronize your local stores and merchants.

Tomorrow, celebrate Thanksgiving. Take a bag of food to your local food bank or pantry. Maybe a couple of toothbrushes, and some small tubes of toothpaste, some small salt and pepper. Because those are all things that you had today.

Is it just me? Going to someone’s house for dinner, and taking a dish , then bringing home leftovers because you’re too stuffed to eat any more doesn’t seem like how we should be thankful.

Twitter this morning is drowning under the MAGATS making up a plausible excuse for the fact that Trump gave the shooter the right to stay in America. Because even the most loyal can’t invent one.

The biggest problem with Thanksgiving is that both Lowe’s and Home Depot are closed all day.

Of course. It’s Biden’s fault that a terrorist shot two national guardsmen in November, having left office in January. You have to love MAGA logic. At least they didn’t drag Hilary into it- yet, at any rate.

Two national guardsmen were murdered in Washington DC. They should never have had to be there in the first place. Lauren Boebert doesn’t care. Neither does Gabe Evans, or any other Colorado Republican. Every democrat in Colorado is outraged, with total sympathy for their families
