Ireland's Alex Dunne will race in Formula 3 with MP Motorsport this year after getting a late deal across the line. There is testing in Bahrain next week and the season starts in Sakhir on 1 March. Very exciting news for the highly-rated 18YO.

World Rally Championship: Rally Ireland location to be rotated as bid launched

Motorsport Ireland president Aiden Harper says process to get government funding is underway. The ask is for €15m over three years, with an expected return of €300m. Harper said the bids from Waterford, Limerick and Kerry were also "exceptional" and were inseparable.

The proposed bid to bring the World Rally Championship to Ireland will alternate between Waterford, Limerick and Kerry over three years, from 2025-2027. If successful, Motorsport Ireland will speak to the three areas about what order they would like to host the WRC.
