Peter Beinart has an op-ed claiming that outrage among young Black Americans against Israel is one of the causes of Democratic defeat in the 2024 election. Beware of white progressives who project their own ideological biases onto working-class communities of color. Here’s

Harvard cancelled classes after Trump won. They did not cancel classes after the October 7th Hamas massacre. What does that tell you?

If the election outcome is as I expected, it should cause the large minority of the country who supported @KamalaHarris and predicted her victory to begin to question their sources of truth. Half the country has believed that @X is filled with mis- and disinformation, and that
I believe that @realDonaldTrump will win in a decisive victory and potentially a landslide Electoral College outcome tomorrow. I could of course be totally wrong, but that helps elevate an important point. Approximately half the country will be unhappy about the election

According to self-described human rights organizations, there are two, and only two, rules of international law. Rule One: Israel must do nothing. Rule Two: Israel's enemies may do anything.
The mass electronic device explosions across Lebanon and Syria in recent days bear the hallmarks of a sinister dystopian nightmare. International humanitarian law prohibits attacks that fail to distinguish between civilians and military targets and prohibits the use of these

@AOC What's appalling is AOC not caring that Americans are being held hostage by Hamas, or the fact that calling for a ceasefire only rewards the terrorists who committed unspeakable sexual violence against women on October 7th. This isn't about AIPAC. It's about siding with rapists.

Owners and NFLPA should agree to this CBA amendment now, not wait til next CBA. Costs owners nothing; cost non-RB players collectively a pittance. Would show a can-do attitude to address fundamental unfairness. Then rest of RB unfairness issues can be addressed in next CBA.

This is really big. We could get to a modern approach where Silicon Valley companies, founders, employees, and investors don’t have a 40% costs of capital to enter the public markets. Thanks to @stacey_cunning and team at @nyse for all their efforts!
Big development in capital markets! The SEC has granted approval for @nyse to list companies interested in raising primary capital priced by the market via an NYSE Direct Listing.
