To be clear, Apple’s implementation here does not require your phone to be unlocked or handed over. You get a prompt to share only the specific info requested. This is all still rollout out and roaming police largely don’t support this yet either.

Jesus. People ask why we need a new Apple TV with Apple Intelligence powered Siri — I just ask Siri on Apple TV for “match game” and it told me it couldn’t find anything on the App Store. FML

I don't completely agree with "INSANELY" overpriced. It's a bit easier to pick up AndroidXR which Samsung didn't have to develop/support from the ground up. Or buying off-the-shelf Snapdragon chips versus designing and creating your own purpose-built ones. But still expensive ofc
Did not expect them to be so close in specs. Obviously M5 + R1 will absolutely destroy any other headset out there, but the rest of Galaxy XR’s specs seem on par or better. Really goes to show how INSANELY overpriced Apple Vision Pro is, especially now that it’s on gen 2.

Faith just updated to a new iPhone & she had immediately two takeaways. - Camera Control is super useful, mostly for opening the Camera app fast - The new Photos app sucks. Asked what happened to her photos and why she now had to swipe between multiple tabs to look at her pics.

Apple has to include support for the new gear in OS updates. Unless Apple released a minor build with that, it would likely be built into the 26.1 updates currently in beta. We don't even have an RC of those yet. They could be announced next week with an RC on Monday, though...

I know rumors were saying new gear was dropping this week -- which still may happen! But speculating out loud, Apple's beta cycle doesn't seem to support that. Especially if they're to be imminently available... 1/2

For all my beta friends out there (my number one friends who use the iOS betas, not my secondary friends!!) don’t install tvOS 26.1 yet. Killed my Apple TV and smart home devices. Won’t connect to HomePods. Just a heads up!
