With the release of @Blender 5, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into Geometry Nodes. Turns out, the displacement geometry modifier was all I needed! I've never really used the UV unwrapping tools in Blender, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. It was really easy!

My first knitted 3D model, so of course it's a Benchy! I keep seeing these 'knitted / woven' 3D models, and wanted to try my hand at making one. I think it came out pretty clean!

Six years ago I made the jump from @ProcessingOrg to @p5xjs so I could start sharing my generative tools online. Learning @JavaScript (and later, @threejs) enabled me to go on to make tools for mesh editing, 3D modeling, and other fun stuff. Tl;dr: Thank you, Processing! 🙌

THE HIGHEST HONOR: I just found out @BambulabGlobal is using one of my Low Poly models on their online store as a demo model.... ...right next to a @flowalistik Low Poly model! 🥹🥹🥹 He's literally the king of Low Poly in my mind, so this is going straight to my head 🤣

The @Prusa3D SL1S is one of the only printers I've seen in the consumer space that really gets this right. See that thin layer of resin on the perimeter of the platform? One quick wipe and it's ready for the next material. Amazing!

Ignoring the dual-vat thing for a moment: that build platform design is sooooo close to being perfect. Get rid of the shell feature so it's just a solid trapezoid, and it's ideal for printing, cleaning, etc.
