The Soap filament is pretty neat, but I seriously feel like I'm being pranked by the @timeplast 3D printer filament selection. Toilet Color? Fish Food? Baby Gender Reveal? . 🚨 Bug Attractor *AND* Bug Killer? 🚨. PLA / ABS just seem so boring in comparison! 🤣

This is one of my absolute biggest annoyances when traveling in the US. Just let me bring in my backpack: it’s only got a bottle of water, an umbrella, and a little plastic bag for carrying out trash 😭.

Worth watching even if you don’t have this printer, just for the @UncleJessy4Real cameo 🤣.

The final product!. I remember being absolutely blown away that I could make a *CUBE* with ChatGPT in 2022, and now we're going from concept to printed model in about a day. Cool stuff!

Here's the process: try it out yourself!. 1) Made a 2D image using ChatGPT text prompt.2) Used Tripo AI to make a 3D model from the 2D image.3) Cleaned up the mesh in Blender.4) Printed the whole thing on a @BambulabGlobal X1-Carbon in color!

Concept to color FDM 3D print, using Generative Design!. I made a little 3D printed mascot for a cycling group called the Crank Critters, and I used generative tools for 2D and 3D design in the process. Want to see how I did it?

I've been spending a bunch of time this summer cycling around the city in Charlotte, NC!. Urban riding is really enjoyable and rewarding; highly recommend giving it a try sometime. 3D printing led me back into cycling, and I love seeing other 3D printed saddles out in the wild!
