4/5 Istället för att förbli vid deras sida när de utsätts för repression, vänder vi dem nu ryggen. När de kämpar mer än någonsin mot diskriminering, släpper vi nu taget. Vilken vårdslöshet. Vilket samvetslöst svek.

3/5 Men idag har alltså den svenska regeringen valt att avsluta utvecklingsbiståndet - dvs stödet till flickors och kvinnors egenmakt genom utbildning, mödrarvård, småföretagande och hållbart jordbruk.

2/5 Och de uttryckte tydligt att vi var deras hopp - om en värld som står kvar vid deras sida när de behöver oss som mest. I årtionden har Sverige varit en uthållig partner i kampen för kvinnors rättigheter i Afghanistan. Vi har visat att vi är att lita på.
