What Sen Kelly did was gross abuse of power for a Congressmen and former military... and he knows it! All of America knows it. He told junior officers to not obey orders if "they" think it might be illegal. That's not the UCMJ's process for determining legal vs illegal orders.
Absurd. If they recall Sen. Kelly it will be a gross abuse of power. He merely stated the law. Soldiers are not required to follow manifestly unlawful orders. It is a not a violation of the law to state the law.
