Please don't say silly things like "tariffs are not inflationary" anymore. The reason why we haven't seen a significant impact of tariffs on US consumer price inflation yet is related to the fact that the rest of the world has been mired in deflation over the past 12 months. .
@APompliano @WClementeIII Don't know who needs to hear this but US import price inflation has so far been curbed by deflation in Chinese producer prices and overall commodity prices. US Import Prices: +0.2% YoY.China Producer Prices: -3.6% YoY.Brent Oil Prices: -16.8% YoY
