Was talking with a colleague about this before the winter break. The question I posed in the conversation is what would be the most popular major if tuition was free and need for the degree to result in direct employment post graduation were removed.

We are living in interesting times. interesting times indeed. That being said, I've been sharing with colleagues for a while that we are the last generation of tenured/tenure-track faculty as we have come to know it.

Had the pleasure of attending my first ever Three Minute Thesis completion last night & to say I was blown away by the presentations by our graduate students would be an understatement. All 15 of the participants are legends in the making! #RollTide #wherelegendsaremade.
Congratulations to all fifteen participants who courageously represented their program at last night’s Three Minute Thesis Competition. 🏆 Next semester, 1st place winner Carmen Foster will represent UA at the 3MT regional finals. Good luck Carmen and congratulations to all! 🎊
