Cox Fiber Ethernet Speedtest. So awesome that the fiber cable in this home can support 10,000 Mbps symmetrical speeds and higher in the future. Just need to upgrade the OLT and ONT.

Remote OLT’s can be a good solution if you’re doing FTTH over 20 km away from a central office. Maybe not as reliable as a central office OLT because central office OLT’s have access to extensive battery backups/generators incase of a power outage. Remote OLT’s usually have

FINALLY DUDE. They are cutting the trees down nextdoor. Clearing the lines up which is good. Glad my internet didn’t go down since the tree branches fell onto the fiber drop cable to this home.
