For months I have been asking EU leaders to cut through the jungle of ESG rules and attract more private capital to European defence. Today, the @EUCouncil made clear that defence is in line with ESG. Our defence sector is open for business. My message: Invest, invest, invest!.

Very sad to hear of the passing of former Canadian foreign minister and astronaut Marc Garneau. He was a thoughtful and principled voiceâsomething I saw at this yearâs Copenhagen Democracy Summit and on our Global Space Council. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
