c.1760 Her husband had his portrait painted by Reynolds at the same time in matching blue hues, now in a private collection. They both have that typical silvery kind of light in Reynolds work in late 1750s onwards. Stunning pair 😍 #Reynolds #OTD #Reynolds300 #JoshuaReynolds

Today is the 300th anniversary of the birth of Sir Joshua Reynolds. This painting of Maria Gunning, Croome's 6th Countess of Coventry, was painted by Reynolds somewhere between 1753 and 1760. If you're visiting the House ask the team if they can let you see it. #bornthisday

Stunning morning at Packington watching #LandRover 14 taking on the historic Ford where LR’s were originally tested. I was so lucky to have been there with HUE 166 who was looking on from dry land! #LandRover75 Driven by Michael Bishop

Today we took HUE 166, the very first #LandRover, to a special place in its history. This ford on the Packington Estate was where the pre-production Land Rovers were tested from 1948, including HUE! #LandRover75 💚

This 1970 #ConceptCar from #Vauxhall is a brilliant vision of the future. It has upward-opening rear doors, electronically adjusted suspension & two fuel tanks to help balance. It’s now on display in the Museum in the Design and Concept zone after a spell in the workshop!
