"is he underperforming the Vegas line?" "yes"
@AmericanNumbers Curious what is this based on? Because he’s gone ECF, Finals, and ECSF with all years having significant injuries and two of the years having no Tatum for important games

To explain this a bit for newbies: there's a subset of nba coaches that are very good at implementing a consistent system of play but are also slow to deviate from it. Which tactical geniuses like Spo or Carlisle ruthlessly exploit in a series.

Nope Great in season coach but lousy playoff coach. It's legit a trope.
@AmericanNumbers Have you changed your mind on Mazulla?

The issue is that OKC has played the weakest schedule in the NBA at the moment
@AmericanNumbers I would definately take the over on OKC (probably around 67 wins)

Revised the coach and team ratings. Still no Tatum

His last playoff series? Only one player averaged more than 35 minutes a game.
The Knicks are probably overrated for the playoffs because of the downgrade from Thibbs to Brown. Brown will not go as hell bent for leather rotation wise as Thibs would in the playoffs at least initially is my take.

Model's had them at 61 wins for a while. very weak schedule early
@AmericanNumbers Still a very good team! Probably still the favorite. A championship team. But holy shit was twitter overrating them as the best team of all time or close to one of them. Schedule was softer than some paper left out in the rain

This player has not been signed by an NBA team and has not used his college eligibility. Him getting a paid basketball job is great and good.
College athletes have always deserved to get paid, so NIL is a good thing. But I don’t understand why the second that NIL passed, college sports decided that there literally were not any rules about anything anymore. It’s a joke.
