અમદાવાદ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા"મિશન ફોર મિલિયન ટ્રીઝ"ની ઝુંબેશ ઉપાડવામાં આવી છે.જેનો ભાગરૂપે હાલમાં 10,80,000 એટલે કે લક્ષ્યાંકના 27 ટકા રોપાનું વાવેતર થઈ ચૂક્યું છે અને આગામી દિવસોમાં જુદા જુદા સ્થળોએ વૃક્ષારોપણ કરીને 40 લાખ વૃક્ષો વાવવાનો લક્ષ્યાંક પૂર્ણ કરવામાં આવશે,
