Looks like #Trump's pre-Alaska meeting with European leaders went well. He threatened #Russia of "severe consequences" if Putin does not end the war & proposed a followup trilateral with #Putin & #Zelenskyy. Although what constitutes "severe consequences" remains unknown.

You do not need to connect everything with geopolitics. Everthing a state is doing in the foreign policy relm is not geopolitics. And every action of another country which we perceive as hostile is not necessarily a geopolitical action with a large scale implications. 7.

I have many instances where a lot many of our so called “strategic scholars” had no idea that the term geopolitics has a German origin and remained a censored word in the liberal lexicon for quite a long time in the post-2nd WW world. 6.

If 🇷🇺manages to get upper hand in the upcoming Putin-Trump summit & gets most of its war demands accepted, it will be a panacea against its declining status. It will be a message for many in the post-Soviet space who have recently involved in adventures against 🇷🇺’s interests.
