And that ends the trip from the weekend. I thought it was plenty fun for a 6~6.5h hike, but perhaps bringing friends would be much harder over this distance. Next up is probably Tai Tong for the maple leaves!

Last highlight of the day was actually being able to see monkeys! I thought it was a bit too quiet and wouldn't be able to see them, but it turns out that they were just at the end of the trail

Last peak of the day is at Beacon Hill. I love parts that contrast between human presence surrounded by nature

Here you can see tourists on the cliff and on top of the Lion's Head

As you go from rocky to flatter, forest terrain, you make your way to Lion Rock and the cliff. You can hop on the cliff for that ONE photo, but I personally would advise against that.

After hopping on 慈雲山 on some foresty parts, you have to walk all the down as you make it to the famous Lion Rock. You also get to see a store that's prominent in a lot of UTMB fans. Expensive but tasty!

You can see the detour required for Tung Yeung Shan (the ball at the back is Tate's Cairn). Tate's Cairn station is 100% my highlight of the trip for me
