I’m excited and relieved to have successfully defended my PhD dissertation. It’s been a long journey of hard work, late nights, and continuous learning. I couldn’t have made it here without the support of my committee, mentors, friends, family, and department during this stint.

I also had the opportunity to be a moderator for the ‘Land Use and Agriculture’ selected paper session and present my paper on corn basis volatility. I'm grateful to my advisors, mentors, colleagues, and the COSBAE for their support.

This experience pushed me to grow, sharpened my teaching skills, and boosted my confidence in the classroom. I’m proud of how the course came together—and even more grateful for the opportunity to lead and learn as an instructor.

This Spring, I took on a challenge: serving as Instructor of Record for Principles of Macroeconomics in the @VTAgEcon, leading a class of 60+ students. It was challenging and, honestly, a little intimidating at first, but it turned into one of the most rewarding experiences .

I hope to see them for years to come. There’s nothing like seeing your work through new eyes, thanks to the sharp questions and fresh perspectives that lead to at least five new open tabs on my browser. A huge thanks to the organizers and everyone who joined my session!

I had an incredible experience presenting my research at NCCC-134 in Chicago! It was energizing to connect with brilliant minds from around the world, all passionate about Commodity Price Analysis, Forecasting, and Market Risk Management. I ran into familiar faces and new ones.

Teaching Macro Principles this spring, and every time a student calls me 'Professor' or 'Dr.,' I feel like I'm starring in an academic sitcom. Who gave me this much responsibility?! 😂 I have to remind myself not to laugh but only call it character-building.
