We attended an accessible Halloween event where the street was closed to cars, tables were at the sidewalk, and there were both food and non-food options. My autistic son used #PECS and a button to #trickortreat! https://t.co/WiRRvYKQ3y

We started a new #EDUProtocols in math today so students’ minds are on well I turn on the tech. I already have such great insight around concepts that need more teaching and love that students will get to practice thinking about numbers flexibly on a daily basis.

Students designed a class flag. A star to represent our unique identities, tie dye rainbow to represent our diversity, and the Wilson basketball to represent our unity.

I’ve been listening to the audiobook of “Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics” by @pgliljedahl while driving to drop my son at camp and I’m pumped for the school year about how many of these practices can be safely implemented in my grade 6 hybrid classroom!

I just read about the new #DocumentReview feature and love the inclusive language suggestions. I’m excited to have my students critically analyze their work and Google’s suggestions to further disrupt biases in language @GoogleForEdu #GoogleEdu

Inspired by @mfrank_76 duck hatching cam, my students wanted a live cam with a pet of our own. I have set up a google meet with the code wilsonlilies . 3 out of 8 lilies are opened already and the next 5 should be opening any time now! @EVS_YRDSB #EVSLearning @YRDSBoutdoorEd
