Avoiding labeling kids (ES= 0.61 or 1.5 years' learning) isn't about fairness; it's about potential. Every child deserves to be seen for the learner they can become, not the label we stick on them. Let's nurture potential, not limits.

Last week @Avis literally stranded me at an airport with no rental car and now tonight I am standing in line with 90 other Preferred Members and no one has a sense of urgency to take care of your loyal members. You need a rebrand for sure.

I cannot express how impressed I am by this teacher & her students! I had the pleasure &privilege 2 coach her last year & she continues 2 implement & expand on the work we did together because she knows it’s what works best FOR students. Keep it up,Sam!Lucky students!❤️❤️
We did our first “Box It” today and these students rocked it! We were talking about being a buddy and not bully. I loved hearing students explain that the bullying pictures didn’t look like “coffee beans”! @KerkstraCougars @AlisaBraddy #GreatHappensHere

How sad to think that this will need to become a bill in order for teachers to have adequate time to plan and eat lunch. In no other profession in the world would this be allowed or tolerated. 😩

This is perfectly said and so very true!
Leadership is not about being popular. It requires you to confront mediocrity head-on to create a culture where students succeed. This is not a call to be cruel or abrasive, but a plea for forthrightness. And, no matter how nice you are, some feel attacked when held accountable.

Collaborative conversations are underway in 1st grade! Students have been practicing “stand up, hand up, pair up” to share their thoughts with their classmates. @AlisaBraddy these 1st graders are rockstars, you would be proud! #GreatHappensHere @KerkstraCougars
