Residency is tough, but I feel good when I’m working in the hospital and even after I go home from work. This feeling is what motivates me to keep learning and moving forward. I absolutely love this job. #residency #internalmedicine.

One recommendation I have for new interns is to prioritize putting in orders before writing your notes. If your seniors or attending ask you to place an order, do it right away rather than waiting until you’re back at the resident office if possible. This helps ensure you don’t.
